The 1966 model year saw the last of the 1st generation legendary C10 pickups being built. This particular C10 has just been brought back to life after an extended indoor storage period. The truck runs and drives and features faded light yellow and white paint and shows with great patina.

It is an all-original survivor pickup truck which was ordered with the optional upgraded 4.8L 292cui inline 6-cyl 'Turbo Thrift' engine which produced 165hp. Bringing it back to life included a new battery and fuel pump and away it ran. We do not suggest however that it be used immediately as a driver, discretion should be used and the necessary pre-road checks carried out.

It is an original unmolested barn find and still wears its Black & Yellow Californian plates. Unmolested factory short bed trucks are particularly hard to find, especially in this condition. Yes, there is some rust, but nothing terminal. There is some rust in the bottom of the drivers door and the outer rocker on the passenger side. The tyres have reasonable tread, but are old, so they will need replacement.

Overall, this is a great project pickup with huge potential, which can be driven whilst undergoing its cosmetic touches. Where can you find these trucks in this condition these days, let alone a shortbed, which are even rarer?
