This '69 Mustang was manufactured in Ford's San Jose, Northen California plant on the 27th September 1969 as a Mach 1 2-dr Sports Roof Fastback. The trim/body plate identifies it as originally painted in Gulfstream Aqua with Black knit luxury vinyl interior trim with front Hi-Back bucket seats. It was fitted with an S-code 390cui-4v V8 high performance engine, 4-speed manual transmission paired to a conventional rear differential with 3.25:1 gearing and delivered to the Salt Lake City, Utah DSO, where it was originally sold.

This Mach 1 is a reasonably rare car as it is one (1) of only 1,458 Mach 1 4-speed manual transmission cars produced in 1969, out of a total Mach 1 production of 72,458 units.

The car has been repainted in the most popular Mach 1 colour of Candy Apple Red and the original Black upholstery has been replaced with a White luxury vinyl interior. The car is stunning indeed in this livery together with the upgraded alloy wheels. The car has very solid floors, frame and panels and is Marti Report Verified.

The 390 has been replaced and a nicely equipped FE sits in its place with a 428CJ crankshaft, forged pistons, aluminum intake manifold and extensive oiling modifications to keep the good times turning. Other non-factory upgrades include 750cfm double pumper carburetor, aluminium radiator and twin thematic cooling fans. The toploader 4-speed shifts like butter through that Hurst linkage. Power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes and Vintage air conditioning work beautifully!!! The suspension has been upgraded with new springs, larger front sway bar and some big 17" 'Mini Lites' alloy wheels which make this car handle surprisingly well think small block handlingits awesome!

This is a true big-block, 4-speed, air-conditioned '69 Fastback thats built to drive not sit in the corner!! It has the perfect balance between originality and performance.
