This Mustang was built in Ford's San Jose, Northern California plant on the 4th December 1965 as a 2-dr hardtop coupe and featured Wimbledon White paint matched to standard Blue vinyl upholstery with front bucket seats. It was powered by a 4.7L 'C-Code' 289cui-2v V8 Windsor small block engine, matched with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission and paired to a conventional rear differential with 2.80:1 highway gearing. It was delivered and sold into the Los Angeles, Southern California DSO where it has spent all its life.

The paint shows great with an obvious repaint at some point in time. The interior has had a refit with upgraded 'Pony' red & white upholstery and a with the addition of a cruiser console with cup holders. The seats have been refitted with pronounced bolsters which increase the comfort of the ride.

The car is super solid and straight, and the undercarriage is original and very solid, with the floors, frame rails, torque boxes and trunk drop offs also all in very good condition. The car features 14" Torque Thrust alloy wheels fitted with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tyres.

The car features Shelby style bonnet scoop & side air intakes; an upgraded aluminium radiator and with the power steering just having been serviced.

This coupe runs and drives excellent, and is turn-key and ready to enjoy either as a driver or weekend cruiser.

This Mustang is a lifelong Southern California car and is still wearing its original 'Black & Yellow' Californian number plates.
